Marvel Gives Venom a New Team of Symbiote Superheroes
Venomverse Reborn brings back a classic team of Marvel superheroes and subjects them to one of the most brutal transformations of all time.
Along with Crypt of Shadows, a story by writer Benjamin Percy and artist Raffaele Ienco will take Man-Thing far from his native swamp and out onto the high seas alongside the (former) King of Atlantis himself – Namor. Writer Jason Loo and artist Carlos Magno have also crafted a story pitting longtime Spider-Man foe Kraven the Hunter against Marvel’s original Werewolf by Night, Jack Russell.
The anthology will notably mark the comic debut of the MCU monster hunter Joshua Jovan, introduced in Marvel Studios’ Werewolf by Night. Writer Chris Condon and artist Djibril Morissette will helm the story that sees Joshua step through the Last Door and straight into the clutches of the Scarlet Witch.
Avengers Assemble #2 will arrive in comic book shops on October 16, 2024.
