The following contains spoilers for Spider-Boy #12, on sale next week
In last month’s issue of Spider-Boy, the rest of the Marvel Universe finally caught up to the lost memories they had of Spider-Boy, Spider-Man’s former sidekick who was erased from continuity, but was eventually restored by Spider-Man during the Dan Slott/Mark Bagley Spider-Man series. Now everyone remembers all of the past adventures of Spider-Boy, but at the same time, now that means people like Bullseye remember their NEGATIVE history with Spider-Boy, and that will lead to the introduction of the new Spider-Girl in this CBR exclusive preview of next week’s Spider-Boy #12.
Spider-Boy #12 is from writer Dan Slott, artist Paco Medina, colorist Erick Arciniega, and letterer Joe Caramagna, and it continues to show the ramifications of Spider-Boy’s return to the memories of the Marvel Universe, as now he is once again a popular superhero (after initially seeming to be a threat and/or menace when he seemingly showed up out of nowhere). However, there is an impending threat lurking behind the horizon for young Bailey Briggs…

Spider-Man is About to Risk Everything to Bring Back Spider-Boy
Spider-Man’s kid sidekick is no more, but he won’t be gone for long if Spider-Man and Madame Web have anything to say about it.
In the preview pages, we see Spider-Boy dealing with his newfound/renewed popularity with people, as he greets a number of fans, and also signs an autograph (of course, since he’s still a kid, he accidentally signs the first autograph with his REAL name, and quickly needs to redo the autograph).
Meanwhile, we see Bullseye and his secret apprentice monitoring Spider-Boy. She plans on taking him out with a throwing star, but Bullseye explains that they need Spider-Boy alive for now, and since they need him alive, this is how this young female apprentice of Bullseye will instead approach Spider-Boy as Spider-GIRL.
The last page of the previews shows Daredevil grabbing Spider-Boy, and next week, you will find out how Daredevil and Spider-Boy get along, and what kind of history they have that we don’t know about just yet.
