McFarlane Toys has announced a life-size replica of Batman’s cowl as seen in the 1989 movie. Pre-orders for the collector’s piece launch tomorrow at select retailers.
The Batman 1:1 Scale Cowl Replica stands approximately 24.5″ tall and includes a display stand. A teaser image, posted to McFarlane Toys‘ X (formerly Twitter) account shows the cowl resting on its display stand. The replica is modeled after Michael Keaton‘s suit from the 1989 Batman film directed by Tim Burton. Aside from a pre-order announcement, McFarlane Toys has not revealed many details about the piece. The price and actual release date have yet to be announced.

McFarlane Toys, which specializes in high-quality action figures, has also produced other scale replicas of some of DC’s most iconic villain’s accessories. A 1:2 scale Harley Quinn Replica Baseball Bat was released in 2022, followed by Edward Nygma / The Riddler’s Puzzle Box in 2023, complete with a 1:1 scale batarang and Batman-themed puzzles with nods to Robin, Nightwing and Batgirl. Other franchises also have replicas created by McFarlane Toys, including My Hero Academia‘s Bakugo Grenadier Bracers, The Walking Dead‘s ‘Lucille’ Bat, and a gauntlet with a hidden blade from Assassin’s Creed Syndicate.
Other recent releases from McFarlane Toys include a Wonder Woman figurine inspired by artwork by the legendary artist Jim Lee, which will be going on sale later this week. Jim Lee-inspired pieces featuring The Flash and Superman are available now and retail for $49.99. While not yet formally announced, it is likely that figures of the other Justice League members — including Batman — will come in the near future.
