Two of the Marvel Universe’s strongest villains will have a symbiote-infused showdown in the upcoming Venom War: Fantastic Four story. CBR has an exclusive first look at the legendary battle between Kang the Conqueror and Doctor Doom.

Venom War started earlier this year and saw chaos break out as both Eddie Brock and his son Dylan fight to be the one, true Venom. The event has spun out into other Marvel comic titles, and now The Fantastic Four are joining the fray and bringing two legendary Marvel villains into the fold. CBR’s exclusive preview of the upcoming story shows Victor Von Doom and Kang squaring off with each other as The Fantastic Four arrive to stop them, with The Human Torch and The Thing launching a bold attack on Doom. The Venom War: Fantastic Four tie-in story is written by Adam Warren with art by Joey Vasquez and goes on sale Oct. 30.

Marvel’s solicit teases the high stakes that the Brocks and The Fantastic Four will face when Kang and Doom battle it out. “A proxy war between Kang the Conqueror and Victor Von Doom has been brewing behind closed doors while Eddie and Dylan Brock battle over who should remain bonded to the Venom symbiote. In Doom and Kang’s violent chess match, Doom has chosen Flexo as his game piece, while Kang has selected Rascal. But as the symbiotes savage each other on the surface, what will happen to Dylan and Eddie? And in this war behind the Venom war, will it be Doom or Kang to come out on top?”

Marvel’s Venom War Intensifies with More Tie-In Stories

Fans keeping up with the exciting battles in Marvel’s main Venom War series will have plenty more action to read about in various Venom War tie-in stories released throughout the month of October. Venom War: Spider-Man #3 explores what would happen if Peter Parker were the ‘King in Black’, keeping the Venom symbiote for himself. In Venom War: Wolverine #2, Logan fights a horde of zombie symbiotes in a story written by Tim Seeley and Tony Fleecs.

Joining Wolverine in the battle against Marvel’s Zombiotes is Deadpool, and in Cullen Bunn’s Venom War: Deadpool #2, the Merc with a Mouth is trapped in a city full of zombified symbiotes and must work with allies like Frankenstein’s Monster and Man Thing to battle his way out. Other characters joining the Venom War through tie-ins include Black Widow in Venom War: Venomous, as well as Carnage and the Lethal Protectors. The vicious zombies appearing in many of the tie-ins also have their own storyline in Venom War: Zombiotes.
