The Blood Hunt crossover has been affecting the entire Marvel Universe, but since the X-Men offices is in the middle of a major “From the Ashes” relaucnh, there isn’t as much room for those titles to tie in directly, so intead, they have been doing tie-in miniseries and tie-in one-shots to show the impact of the vampire takeover of Earth on the X-Men. In this CBR exclusive preview of X-Men: Blood Hunt – Laura Kinney the Wolverine #1, we see how Wolverine is impacted by the vampire attacks, and we can see whether her claws can kill vampires!

X-Men: Blood Hunt – Laura Kinney the Wolverine #1 is produced by writer Stephane Phillips, artist Robert Gill, colorist Nolan Woodard, and letter Travis Lanham, and sees Laura Kinney (who became Wolverine officially during the Krakoan Age) traveling through upstate New York, and naturally, she runs into some vampires.

In the preview pages, we see that Wolverine’s claws CAN, in fact, cut through the vampires and kill them. This is obviously quite useful, especially as Wolverine has claws in both her hands AND her feet, which allow her to really tear through the vampires with ease.

Note that Laura Kinney, as being a clone (of sorts) of Wolverine, has his healing factor, so she also has his resistance to being actually turned into a vampire, and as a result, vampires pose less of a danger to her than other superheroes. Here, though, in the preview pages, we see that Laura is looking into whoever the vampires had mysteriously locked up.
