Deadpool Introduces the Most Powerful Nepo Baby of All Time

The following contains major spoilers for Deadpool #7, on sale now from Marvel Comics.
Marvel’s new Merc With a Mouth is officially the deadliest nepo baby of all time.
Deadpool #7 drops readers in the middle of an explosive rooftop battle between a band of would-be villains and a fierce, ferocious Merc With a Mouth. Rather than the Wade Wilson anyone might expect, however, this fast-talking vigilante is a sleeker, somewhat less imposing figure. Unfortunately for Ellie Camacho’s enemies, however, she is every bit as lethal as her father, and she has no problem embracing the mantle he left behind.
One of Marvel’s Original X-Men is Tougher Than the MCU’s Strongest Army
One of Marvel Comics’ original X-Men takes on the Black Order single-handedly — and there was never any chance of her losing against them.

Introduced back in 2013’s Deadpool #19 by writers Gerry Duggan and Brian Posehn and artist Declan Shalvey, the young Eleanor Camacho is the daughter of Deadpool and a woman named Carmelita, with whom Wade had a short-lived fling. Not knowing Carmelita was pregnant, Deadpool left her for a long string of missions that ultimately led to him abandoning his family. It wasn’t until a year later when Carmelita tracked him down for child support that Wade found out he is a father, and not until even later that he accepted the situation as the truth.
After Ellie and Carmelita were targeted by the villainous Bartol Utler, aka the Butler, Deadpool did everything he could to save them. Instead, he only found Carmelita’s corpse and no sign of his daughter. Though Wade eventually learned of Ellie’s survival, he has spent the majority of the past decade trying to stay away from her for fear of putting her in harm’s way. Unsurprisingly, Ellie has continued to return to the spotlight at various points, including her recent reunion with her father which has effectively made her a member of Team Deadpool.
Marvel’s New Infinity Watch, Explained
Marvel has a new iteration of the Infinity Watch to keep guard over the most powerful artifacts of all time, and not all of them are superheroes.
Ellie took up the mantle of Deadpool only recently during her father’s battle against the villainous Death Grip. Through the use of the mystical Muramasa Blade, Death Grip dealt Wade several blows that his healing factor could not recover from. Worse still, Death Grip hunted down the injured Deadpool while the rest of the team were out on a mission, taking the opportunity to launch a mystical assault that seemingly put the Merc With a Mouth down for good.
Deadpool #7 is on sale on October 2 from Marvel. Comics.
