Deadpool Creator Returns to His Most Infamous Project

[[{“value”:”

Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld will return to Youngblood, one of his most infamous independent creations, in 2025. Today, Image Comics announced their new partnership with Liefeld which will bring new media and merchandise in the new year.

Liefeld’s Youngblood was a multi-million best-selling comic book and launched the ‘Image Revolution’, establishing Image Comics as a force to be reckoned with. The title centered around a team of superheroes formed by the United States government. The series spanned over 100 issues and featured contributions from some of the top names in comics, including Robert Kirkman (Invincible, The Walking Dead), Alan Moore (Watchmen) and Mark Millar (Kick-Ass, The Kingsmen). Youngblood came after Liefeld’s success at Marvel, where he created beloved characters, including Deadpool, Cable and the X-Force, and it was the first independent non-Marvel or DC title to chart at #1 and sold over a million copies. Image Comics’ new collaboration will see him join forces with Scott Mitchell Rosenberg for new “media and merchandise” which will kick off with a brand-new title written and illustrated by Liefeld himself sometime in 2025.
