DC Unveils its Expanded San Diego Comic-Con Lineup

DC has announced it will have an expanded presence and lineup at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con. The comics publisher will have a new booth on the show floor as well as multiple panels, signings and exclusive partnerships.
DC’s new SDCC booth (#4545) will have a larger footprint and be multi-level on the convention’s show floor, running from July 24-28. The publisher also announced collaborations with McFarlane Toys, Meta, and Candy Digital to give fans exclusive collectibles at the DC Booth. McFarlane Toys Digital will host a giveaway for an exclusive limited-edition ‘The Joker Bank Robber’ digital collectible. Meta will have a 20′ lightbox for Batman: Arkham Shadow, a Meta Quest 3 exclusive game releasing later this year. Candy Digital will launch the next chapter in Batman: The Legacy Cowl with a physical-digital comic that fans can collect for free while supplies last, along with other giveaways and freebies.
The Creative Teams for DC’s New Absolute Comics Line Revealed
The creative teams for DC’s upcoming Absolute Comics line have been revealed, including Scott Snyder, Jeff Lemire, Al Ewing, Kelly Thompson, and more
DC also unveiled a variety of DC Shop Exclusives, including the first official merchandise from James Gunn’s highly anticipated Superman film and the upcoming animated series Creature Commandos. DC’s new expanded booth will also have limited printings of special edition foil covers for Absolute Power #1, All-Star Superman #1, Batman #150, a special McFarlane Toys Action Figure Variant of Batman Beyond #1, a new Creature Commandos #1 variant cover, a special edition foil cover SDCC 2024 Exclusive Absolute Batman Ashcan, a facsimile edition of Detective Comics #27 with a movie homage cover, and convention-exclusive graphic novels with metal covers for Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong, Batman Vol. 1: Failsafe (with a movie homage cover), Wonder Woman Vol. 1: Outlaw, and an oversized pencil-and-ink flip-book variant of Batman: Hush #1 and more.
Part of DC’s presence at SDCC will include exclusive panels that will tease what lies ahead for the publisher’s beloved superheroes in comics, film, television and more. DC revealed its list of panels for each day of the convention, which includes DC Comics panels, HBO Originals, special Q&As and more.

Fans will also be able to connect with their favorite creators at in-booth signings — including a special appearance from DC President Jim Lee. A complete list of signings and appearances will be available at the DC Booth and will also include James Tynion IV, Mark Waid, Raphael Grampa, Joshua Williamson, Tom Taylor, Mariko Tamaki and more. Other in-booth and off-site events will also be taking place, with opportunities for fans to see one of Oz Cobb’s iconic suits from The Penguin, giveaways of SDCC-exclusive posters, games, and much more.
San Diego Comic-Con runs from July 25-28, with a special Preview Night on July 24 at the San Diego Convention Center.
