In a move that could set the stage for Marvel’s cinematic future, Spider-Man and the X-Men are set for a high-stakes team-up in the realm of comics. The mutant squad will join forces with the wallcrawler against Cyttorak’s god-like Scions as part of the ongoing 8 Deaths of Spider-Man saga currently shaking up the Amazing Spider-Man canon in comics released Feb. 8, 2024.
As the title suggests, the stakes are Spider-Man’s life or death. After burning through his extra lives gifted to him by Doctor Doom, Peter Parker will require the now-heroic Juggernaut and his fellow X-Men to lend a hand—and keep him alive. Though Spidey-centric, the stories are primed for important wrinkles in the ongoing X-Men canon, Juggernaut being a former patron to Cyttorak.

Amazing Spider-Man #68.DEATHS, a special bonus issue by veteran writer Christos Gage and renowned artist Mark Buckingham, will conclude the Spider-Man story, following the X-Men left to deal with the fallout of the preceding issues’ events.
Deaths started with Amazing Spider-Man #61, which can soon be read on Marvel Unlimited. The Amazing Spider-Man #67 and 68 will hit shelves on Feb. 8, 2024, followed by the tie-in Amazing Spider-Man #68.DEATHS issue shortly after.
