Marvel has released new images teasing the arrival of Spider-Man‘s Vibranium suit. The new costume will be featured in two issues of Miles Morales: Spider-Man later this year.
In the images introducing the Vibranium suit, fans can see Spider-Man swinging into action across the pages of Miles Morales: Spider-Man #25 and #26, which will be released in October and November respectively. In the first issue featuring the new suit, the Black Panther arrives in Brooklyn as Spider-Man gets out of control with vampiric bloodlust. Black Panther will step up to the plate to reel in Spider-Man and save the day, and it appears that the new Vibranium suit will be part of the Prince of Wakanda’s plans. Miles Morales: Spider-Man #25 goes on sale Oct. 16.

Recent issues of the Miles Morales: Spider-Man series have been dealing with the webslinger fighting off a vampiric infection that threatens to turn him into a bloodthirsty creature of the night while facing villains like the evil Vulture. The vampire storyline appears to be approaching its climax with the arrival of Black Panther in issue #25. A release date and solicit for November’s issue, which will also feature the Vibranium suit, has yet to be revealed.
Miles Morales’ New Suit Draws Upon Black Panther’s Unique Tech
Miles Morales’ new suit appears to be drawing some inspiration from Black Panther’s own vibranium suit, which is known as the Panther Habit. Constructed with vibranium nanobots, Black Panther’s suit benefits from the properties of the nearly indestructible element that is found in Wakanda. The Panther Habit’s vibranium makes the wearer completely bulletproof while being lightweight enough to not affect their mobility.

Marvel has teased that the Vibranium suit will come into play during two upcoming issues of Miles Morales: Spider-Man, but it remains to be seen if the character will continue to wear the powerfully upgraded costume after Black Panther leaves Brooklyn. The story is also likely to reveal how the Vibranium properties of the suit come into play with containing Morales’ infection. However, it may take more than a new suit to stop Spider-Man from transforming into a vampire as the story progresses.
