From the world of Patton Oswalt and Jordan Blum’s Minor Threats, Dark Horse Comics will bring fans exciting brand-new stories, beginning with Welcome to Twilight #1. The inaugural entry of the four-issue anthology series will arrive in March 2025.
Per Dark Horse, the Welcome to Twilight anthology will explore the down-on-their-luck supervillains and heroes who call Twilight City home. Each issue will focus on both new and familiar characters and will be helmed by acclaimed comic book creators such as Matt Fraction (Sex Criminals, Hawkeye), Michael Allred (Silver Surfer, Madman), Brian Michael Bendis (Masterpiece, Jinxworld), Soo Lee (Carmilla: The First Vampire, The Oddly Pedestrian Life of Christopher Chaos), Gail Simone (Uncanny X-Men, Women of Marvel), Gene Ha (Wonder Woman Historia: The Amazons), Gerry Duggan (Timing/Luck, Falling in Love on the Path to Hell), and Mark Torres (Phantom on the Scan, Cold Spots).

Fraction and Allred’s Welcome to Twilight #1 follows Benjamin “Brock” Bronkowicz, a washed-up, bird-winged actor who played a superhero on TV but isn’t one in real life. Dark Horse’s description continues, “Now Brock spends his time on the superhero convention circuit – trying to cash in on his fleeting fame, drinking away his problems as he fades into obscurity. But a chance encounter with a mysterious woman empowers Brock to fight for a life he once thought was over. Can Brock learn to fly again? Or will his vices and the ruthless gangsters on his tail clip his wings for good?”
Brian Michael Bendis will write From the World of Minor Threats: Welcome to Twilight #2, with art by Soo Lee, while the third issue will be written by Gail Simone and illustrated by Gene Ha. Gerry Duggan is Welcome to Twilight #4’s scribe, with Mark Torres on art duty. All the Welcome to Twilight anthology stories are created in collaboration with Oswalt and Blum.

Patton Oswalt Has Another New Comic Series on the Way
Minor Threats co-creator Oswalt has joined Tim Seeley and Garth Graham for a brand-new Money Shot series at Vault Comics. Oswalt and Seeley will co-write, with Graham providing illustrations for the new arc Money Shot: Big Bang, which arrives on February 12. The publisher describes Money Shot as “a story about scientists having sex with aliens for the glory of mankind — and money.” Oswalt and Seeley’s new story arc will see the “XXX-plorers” return as a new ‘anti-sex death cult’ is on the rise.
From the World of Patton Oswalt and Jordan Blum’s Minor Threats, Welcome to Twilight #1 will arrive in comic book shops on March 12, 2025.
