Moon Knight’s Best Super-Team Is Set To Return, And It’s Not The Avengers

Moon Knight is back, resurrected during Marvel Comics‘ Blood Hunt event, but now he isn’t alone. Per a Marvel press release, the comic giant’s Moon God-devotee will re-assemble his fan-favorite Midnight Mission group in the pages of an upcoming Moon Knight: Fist of Khonshu issue.
Hitting shelves Dec. 25, Fist of Khonshu #3 will follow Marc Spector, better known as Moon Knight, forced to reunite with the Midnight Mission after a frame job by villain Achilles Fairchild puts the vigilante, once again, on the wrong side of the law. The team quickly became beloved by readers following their debut in the pages of Moon Knight (2021) for their misfitted makeup and penchant for defending marginalized communities. Then, the team featured the likes of Tigra and Hunter’s Moon, who, once more, will join Mission’s ranks this Christmas in Fist of Khonshu.
The issue won’t just feature returning faces; it’ll boast new ones, too. Newly released sneak peeks reveal the issue’s art by Domenico Carbone, who makes his Marvel Comics debut with Fist of Khonshu, having previously lent his talents to ThunderCats: Cheetara #1 for Dynamite Comics.
“When I got the call to draw Moon Knight, I could not believe it!” Carbone said. “I had always wanted to collaborate with Marvel and draw their amazing superheroes, and Moon Knight is the perfect opportunity… I am really looking forward to growing as an artist for this!”
Fans will have to wait for the holiday release to dive into the issue in full. In the meantime, however, a preview of Carbone’s work, plus more about the Midnight Mission can be found by visiting Marvel.com.
