Line it is Drawn: Deadpool and Wolverine Take Over Classic Comic Covers

In the latest Line it is Drawn, our artists drew your suggestions for Deadpool and Wolverine taking over classic comic book covers

Written and penciled by Daniel Cox, who is also a successful film storyboard artist and visual effects director, as well as the creator of the animated characters, Cog and Turbine, Cosmic 8 is about a group of super-powered teenagers in the future who each come from a different planet in the colonized solar system. They must come together and form a superhero team, with each character using their distinctive powers from their respective home worlds. It’s a fun mixture between the Legion of Super-Heroes and the original Guardians of the Galaxy.

Bill Walko (creator of The Hero Business) is on inks and art assists, while Graham Smith is the letterer and designer (and helping with the story) and Pablo Martinena is on the colors. Here is a spotlight from the preview of the various members of the team…

And here is a brief snippet from the preview issue, showcasing two of the characters introduced in the preview, Blaze (from Venus) and Tek (from what’s left of Earth)…

As you can see, it has a very nice mixture between classical superhero science fiction and modern-looking science fiction adventure.
