Giada Perissinotto, colorist Lucio Ruvidotti, and letterer Laura Tartaglia, and it appears to be a parody of the original Journey Into Mystery #83 (by Jack Kirby, Stan Lee, and Larry Lieber), right down to including the same villains from that issue, and even the same Scandinavian setting! Editor Mark Panicccia noted when this project was first announced, “When we saw the designs for the Stone Ducks of Saturn and The Destroyer we literally laughed out loud. I can honestly say I never thought I’d see something like this in my career. I gotta pinch myself to make sure it’s not a dream.”

In the preview pages, we see Donald Duck, and his three nephews, Huey, Dewey, and Louie, travelling to a tourist archeological dig in

Scandinavia, as the boys are looking to get their Junior Woodchucks’ badges for archeological digging. However, when they start digging, Donald accidentally hits his foot with a shovel.

This is why Donald Duck has a pronounced limp. He is having trouble walking, using just the broken shovel as a walking stick. He looks for a place to rest, and at that same time, the Stone Ducks from Saturn arrive, and obviously, just like in the original comic, where Donald Blake found a walking stick to help him with HIS limp, Donald Duck will do the same, and discover that the walking stick will turn into Mjolnir!
