John Carpenter‘s Tales For a HalloweeNight will celebrate its 10th anniversary with a brand-new volume of “twisted and tantalizing” tales. Storm King Comics revealed the cover art for the new book ahead of its release in September.
Tales For a HalloweeNight Vol.10 sees Carpenter presenting an original story called “SOS”, along with eleven other all-new stories that continue the legacy of the popular anthology series. More than 30 of the comics industry’s leading creative artists and writers are featured in the new volume, where they were challenged to “let their imaginations roam free with the only goal of keeping readers engrossed and terrified”. Storm King Comics will also release a gritty compilation of stories by Frank Tieri (Wolverine, Deadpool) and Cat Staggs (Death Mask, Smallville) titled Brooklyn Stories, releasing the same day as the new Tales For a HalloweeNight volume, in comic shops on Sept. 25 and other retailers on Oct. 8.
