DC Gives Fans a Sneak Peek at Trinitys First Solo Series

The following contains major spoilers for Trinity Special: World’s Finest #1, on sale now from DC Comics.
DC Comics officially gives fans a sneak peek of things to come in the upcoming Trinity solo series.
While Trinity Special: World’s Finest #1 is centered around the compiled backup feature exploits of DC Comics’ future Trinity composed of Jon Kent’s Superman, Damian Wayne’s Batman, and Trinity herself as Wonder Woman, it also gives fans their first look of things to come from the latter’s upcoming solo series. Of course, this isn’t any overtly explosive sneak peek, but it is a sign that things to come will be more complicated than Trinity is willing to explain.
The Justice League Just Turned Their Backs on Batman
DC’s Batman: Dark Age just gave the Justice League one of the best reasons to turn their backs on the Dark Knight.

Introduced in her self-titled story from the history-making Wonder Woman #800 in 2023, Trinity, also known as Elizabeth Prince, is the future daughter of none other than Wonder Woman herself. Born to Diana Prince from a still unknown father, Elizabeth, or Lizzie, spent much of her childhood in the care of the Super Sons, Jon Kent and Damian Wayne. Although the two tried their best to keep her out of trouble, it wasn’t long before Lizzie was joining the Super Sons on all manner of high-stakes missions.
As seen in Wonder Woman #800, Lizzie adopted the name Trinity shortly after Damian took up his father’s mantle as Batman. In this future, the two of them and Jon Kent as Superman make up the “current” DC Trinity, which was once composed of their respective parents. Eventually, the missions they would go on led Trinity to take the helm of her generation’s iteration of the Justice League, proving she was more than just a capable fighter on the battlefield.
A Classic DC Trope Just Saved Superman’s Son from a Fate Worse Than Death
Superboy has finally escaped the clutches of Amanda Waller and the Brainiac Queen, and it’s all thanks to a classic DC Comics trope.
Per the official description for Trinity, “Featuring DC’s brightest new star, Trinity! Discover Lizzie’s earliest adventures as she takes the world of heroes by storm! Reprinting the character’s first appearance alongside hilarious tales of the little Amazon and her Super Son babysitters, this special will be an instant classic for fans old and new. Plus, a brand-new story from the all-star creative team behind Wonder Woman that will tease the future of Diana’s daughter!”
