DC Celebrates Batman’s Anniversary With New Pop Mart Figures

DC Comics will celebrate the milestone 85th anniversary of Batman with the launch of new collectible figures starring the iconic superhero. Pop Mart has announced a new standalone figure and a blind box featuring Batman’s many outfits over the years.
The DC Batman Reborn Figurine premiered earlier this year at San Diego Comic-Con and portrays The Dark Knight ready to strike as he watches over Gotham City. The Batman figurine is magnetically detachable from its base, is 40cm tall and made of resin. It retails for $239.90 and will be available for purchase online and in-stores from Friday, Aug. 30. A blind box series of Batman figures featuring his different outfits from various shows, movies, and comics will also be available on Friday, retailing for $21.99 each or $131.94 for the full collection.

Pop Mart’s blind box series features six versions of Batman, each including his iconic Batmobile. The figures showcase Batman’s costumes from classic comics and films throughout the years, including the 1966 television series, the 1989 Tim Burton film as well as Batman: The Animated Series, The Dark Knight, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and the 2022 film starring Robert Pattinson. A secret 7th figure is also included in the set, with 1 out of every 72 blind boxes containing a figure of Batman’s 1939 Detective Comics costume.
Pop Mart’s DC Range Includes The Justice League and Gotham City Legends
Pop Mart has previously collaborated with DC Comics to release collectibles featuring some of the publisher’s most iconic characters, including the Justice League and Gotham City icons. The DC Justice League series included Batman along with Superman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Supergirl, and other heroes, while also including legendary villains like The Joker and Poison Ivy.

Pop Mart’s Gotham City series also put the spotlight on Batman, with Catwoman, Red Hood, Batgirl, The Joker and Harley Quinn joining the Dark Knight. A “Childhood” series of figures was also released, showing DC’s mightiest heroes in their youth.
