The anthology series often focuses on the fear of future technology and the potentially negative effects it may have on society. Black Mirror first aired on the British network Channel 4 in 2011 and has spawned six seasons, in addition to the 2018 interactive film Black Mirror: Bandersnatch. Black Mirror is regarded by many as one of the best television series of the 2010s.
