Superman fans who missed out on DC Comics‘ new take on the iconic character in Absolute Superman #1 can rest easy. The comic book publishing giant has just announced a second printing of the issue after the initial Nov. 6 debut sold out its copies.

The re-release speaks to fan enthusiasm for the refreshed vision of the DC Comics universe. Absolute Superman #1‘s reprint marks the fifth title in the publisher’s new All In line to head back to press, joining DC All In Special #1, Absolute Batman #1, Absolute Wonder Woman #1, and Detective Comics #1090 as issues earning quickly printed second editions.

Absolute Superman, like its aforementioned cohorts, redefines DC legend with bold parallel storylines. In #1, fan-favorite writer Jason Aaron and artists Rafa Sandoval and Ulises Arreola introduce audiences to the “Absolute” universe—a world running alongside DC’s usual continuity—and its Superman.

Aaron’s Supes’ oeuvre ebbs far from the character’s usual moral code of truth, justice, and the American way. Instead, the issue positions the Kryptonian at the center of global conflicts and government agendas, investigating the hero’s potential as a savior— or potential dictator. Aaron is the perfect choice for reimaginings such as Absolute Superman, having ample alternate-world comics to his credit, from What If…? to Avengers Forever.

The second printing, arriving Dec. 18, comes with yet-to-be-printed cover art by Sandoval and Arreola and other editions sporting variant covers by artists like Guillem March and Matteo Scalera.
