Hulkette will soon smash her way into Marvel Comics canon. The publisher’s latest Hulk-themed superhero will appear in the upcoming Spider-Boy #13, which hits comic book shelves this November.
Mirka Andolfo created the character for the New Champions variant cover of last year’s Sensational She-Hulk #1. Now, in Spider-Boy #13, Dan Slott and Paco Medina will shepherd the first official appearance of Hulkette, who “may be small but packs a punch that makes her worthy of her name!.” Per Marvel, Hulkette will face off against the titular hero in Spider-Boy #13, and future issues will hint at the character’s mysterious origin, revealing the full extent of her remarkable strength.

In addition to Spider-Boy, Hulkette will feature in the upcoming New Champions series, which follows the exploits of Marvel Universe’s newly minted heroes. Slott discussed introducing the new Hulk character. “You’ll get a chance to meet Hulkette and her trainer, Enormo, as they get drawn into the action-packed events of Spider-Boy and Spider-Girl’s overseas adventure in Madripoor,” he said.
The Spider-Boy writer continued, “We’ll learn more about Hulkette and her powers as she faces off against Spider-Boy and Daredevil. There’s a big surprise in store for Marvel fans when we finally drop the secret of her origins, but for now, if you want to see this pint-sized powerhouse throw her first punches on the page, this is the issue where her journey begins.”
An MCU Icon is Testing Miles Morales in the Worst Way Possible
Miles Morales is being tested like never before, and one of the greatest Marvel heroes of all time might just be the one to break him.
Last year’s New Champions Variant Covers introduced a group of new young heroes alongside Hulkette, inspired by iconic Marvel heroes. Some have also made their Marvel Universe debuts, including Maystormin Ultimate X-Men, Liberty in Spider-Woman, Fantasma in Ghost Rider: Robbie Reyes Special, and Amaranth in Scarlet Witch #6.
According to a recent report, Amadeus Cho is finally coming to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Created by writer Greg Pak and artist Takeshi Miyazawa, the character first appeared in Marvel Comics’ 2005 Amazing Fantasy #15. Typically depicted as a 19-year-old Korean American genius who is one of the smartest people on Earth, Amadeus eventually succeeded Bruce Banner as the comics’ main Hulk in The Totally Awesome Hulk #1. Logan Kim (Ghostbusters: Afterlife, Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire) will portray Amadeus in the MCU.
Hulkette will debut in Spider-Boy #13, which arrives in comic book shops on November 27, 2024.
