Absolute Batman #1 does not even go on sale until Oct. 9, but DC has confirmed that the debut issue has already completely sold out at the distributor level. The story is written by Scott Snyder and features art by Nick Dragotta and Frank Martin. Absolute Batman #1 is a part of DC’s new All In initiative, with the series being a fresh entry point in DC’s core line in the all-new Absolute Universe of Super Heroes. Absolute Batman #1 is teased as transforming The Dark Knight’s tale for “the modern age”, as Bruce Wayne has no mansion, no money or butler — and all that is left is The Absolute Dark Knight.
