McFarlane Toys Reveals Robin Figurine in New First Look

McFarlane Toys drops a first look at its new figure of Robin from DC’s Earth-2. The Crisis on Infinite Earths figure will be available for pre-order later this week.
The preview image of the collectible 7″ figure shows Robin leaping into action in his Earth-2 costume, featuring a green cowl and flowing yellow cape. Robin of Earth-2 was an alternate version of Robin (Dick Grayson) from DC’s parallel world that was established as the home of characters during its Golden Age of comic books. Earth-2 Robin sports his signature red top with green gloves and matching green briefs along with his utility belt, yellow pants and green boots. McFarlane Toys will begin accepting pre-orders for the figure on Sept. 12, which also includes a digital collectible.

The new Robin figure joins McFarlane Toys’ line of DC figures, with other recent offerings including a Collector’s Edition Huntress, new Green Lantern Corps figures, and a new Armored Batman figure. The toymaker has also announced a variety of Batman cowl replicas mimicking The Dark Knight’s iconic appearances from both film and comics over the years.
The Earth-2 Robin figure is the latest of McFarlane’s releases to go on sale in a “Phygital” format, combining a real-life figure with a digital counterpart. The McFarlane Toys Digital store allows collectors to play, create and share their collection in a virtual reality world with limitless possibilities for displaying their collector’s pieces. The McFarlane Toys Digital viewer app is available for both Windows and Mac. Fans who purchase the Earth-2 Robin figure will receive a code for the McFarlane Toys digital collectible.
