DC Comics and Loungefly are celebrating the 85th anniversary of Batman with a collection of new items. Photos of the new merchandise have been revealed by Loungefly, which includes a backpack, laptop bag and zip-around wallet.

Batman’s Loungefly items include a sleek black and yellow color scheme, with the Batman logo included in the items’ fine details. All three pieces are officially licensed from DC Comics and include a range of luxury features. The most intricate — and expensive — of the items is the full-size backpack, which retails for $125 and is made of vegan leather (polyurethane) with nylon trim. It includes adjustable shoulder straps, padded mesh backing, a slide-through back sleeve, as well as an assortment of pockets and zippers, gunmetal hardware, a buckle and drawstring closure and a pocket for a laptop. The inner lining of the backpack also matches the Batman theme, with images of The Dark Knight inside. An estimated shipping date for the items has not yet been revealed.

Designed to complement the full-size backpack, the laptop bag and accordion zip-around wallet feature a similar design scheme and matching accent details. The laptop bag is detailed with the logos of various Batman characters — including The Riddler’s question mark — and also includes “Dark Knight” written across its front. The wallet includes 5 slots for holding cards with a yellow inner trim that matches the backpack and includes images of Batman.

Loungefly’s Other DC Merchandise Includes Items for Pets

Other DC Comics items from Loungefly include a range of Batman and Robin items for dogs, with mini backpacks, treat and bag holders, collars and leashes available for purchase. These items are more bright and colorful than their Collectiv line counterparts and feature designs imitating Batman and Robin’s iconic suits from DC’s comic stories.

The Loungefly brand has built a name for itself making a variety of pop culture apparel and accessories. Items often include creative and outside-of-the-box designs, with their line of mini backpacks being particularly popular among fans of Disney’s franchises. Marvel, Star Wars, Sanrio, and Funko are some of the other major brands that have released items with the company.
