Skybound has revealed its new lineup of 2025 Young Adult graphic novels that will be released through the Skybound Comet imprint. The new titles are scheduled to be released in Summer and Fall next year.

Skybound teases that the new stories are “heartfelt and heart-pounding YA adventures starring three unforgettable female leads.” The first of these to be released will be Matt Braly and Ainsworth Lin’s Family Force V in May 2025, followed by Clementine Book Three — the finale of Tillie Walden’s trilogy set in the world of The Walking Dead — in June. Lastly, Pizza Witch will hit stores in September by the creative team of Sarah Graley and Stef Purenins. The newly announced titles join Skybound’s other graphic novel, Transformers: Worst Bot Ever: Meet Ballpoint, which was announced earlier this month and releases in July 2025.

In Family Force V, young protagonist Maise fights alien kaiju monsters with her family to continue their legacy of keeping the world safe, all while trying to get good grades, impress her crush, and balance her extracurricular activities. “[Family Force V] is an exploration of grief, responsibility, and identity all wrapped up in a loving homage to one of my favorite genres,” said writer Matt Braly. “I’m absolutely thrilled to be releasing this book with Skybound Comet and can’t wait for readers to meet Maise and her family.” Artist Ainsworth Lin also teased what readers can expect from the new story, adding: “Demon aliens, animesque butt-kicking action, and cringy teenage antics all wrapped around a squishy heartfelt center. Just a great time all around!”

Skybound’s New Novels Explore the Apocalypse and Magic

In addition to Family Force V, Skybound Comet will also publish the conclusion to Tillie Walden’s Clementine trilogy in 2025. Walden explores the character of Clementine, the main protagonist from Telltale’s The Walking Dead video game series. Clementine Book Three sees the titular character with a safe place to live, a girlfriend, and even a pet cat before realizing that nothing lasts forever. She soon suffers a tragic loss, and a new mentor called The Gardener offers her a new family and a new way of living — but at a cost. “Clementine Book 3 is one of the darkest and most interesting stories I’ve ever written,” said Walden. “I’m so excited for everyone to be able to be with Clementine as her story comes to a close!”

Pizza Witch tells the story of Roxy as she goes on a legendary magic Pizza Artifact quest to become the best Pizza Witch that’s ever existed. Accompanied by her black cat George, Roxy might even find time for romance on her journey. “We can’t wait for readers to meet Roxy! She’s a trainee witch with a big heart. She might not always take the easiest route to what she wants, but she’s always ready to take the most interesting and chaotic one!” said writer Sarah Graley. “We’re excited to share the beginning of her journey!”
